Book Bangin' is a feature hosted by Kelly @ Belle of the Literati where, once a month, we talk about hot boys in books!
So I normally do a vlog for this feature but since my webcam decided that it didn't want to work, there will be no vlog. So I'll just have to gush about hot boys with written words this month.
This month's topic is bad boys which you all know I love. There's just something about the bad boy in books that grabs my attention. Not in my real life though. My husband is the epitome of the nice guy and I love him. <3
I have three boys for you. The first is Roth from White Hot Kiss by Jennifer L. Armentrout. This was my first JLA book ever and I absolutely loved it. JLA sure knows how to write swoony guys and Roth was no exception. He's a hot sexy demon with tattoos. He's arrogant, snarky, and a bit pushy. I love everything about him and I can't wait for the next book!
Next up is Nick from Altered by Jennifer Rush. This series is about four guys who have been genetically Altered. Get it? While they are all hot, Nick is definitely the most intriguing. He is quiet, brooding, and pretty angry most of the time. Which makes me wonder what he is so angry about. I need to know more! We don't learn too much about him in the first book, but I've heard he plays a bigger role in the second book and Jennifer Rush says that part of the third book will be written from his POV!
Third is Jace Lightwood from The Mortal Instruments by Cassie Clare. Surprisingly enough, I haven't talked about Jace in any of these Book Bangin' posts yet. Jace is arrogant, totally thinks he's God's gift to the Shadowhunter world. He's got sexy Runes which if you haven't read the series (what are you waiting for?) are basically hot tattoos and he's super ripped. So yeah. *drools*
Honorable Mention: Warner from Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi. I've already talked about him in like two of these, but I couldn't NOT mention him in this one. Because, well, Warner.
Hot Man of the Month: Park from Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell. Yes, I finally read this book, my second Rainbow Rowell book and I absolutely loved it. I had so many feels by like page 80. How? How could I possibly love the characters so much so early? Because Rainbow Rowell is a genius. Park is my first ever contemporary book boyfriend. He's real. He's flawed. But he's also courageous, kind, funny, sweet, badass. Park has everything going for him.
There you have it! Sorry for the lack of vlog. I will try to get my webcam fixed in time for next month. Who did you choose as your bad boy book boyfriends?
