Only three discussions last month! I guess I was quite busy. I also wrote this post about common YA misconceptions that people seemed to like.
In My Real Life:
August was crazy! My husband and I had a beach day which was super fun and relaxing. We went to Medieval Times a couple weeks ago and did the whole eat food with your hands, drink beer and scream really loud.
And then the grand finale. My best friend got married at the end of the month. The wedding was in New Hampshire so we got on a plan Thursday night and flew up. The weekend was a whirlwind of set-up, actual day of wedding stuff and finally a relaxing brunch cruise. The wedding was beautiful and so much fun and Ana was quite possibly the most gorgeous bride I've ever seen. Congrats again to Ana and Jim. I love you guys so much!
Fast Forward:
Falling Into Place by Amy Zhang
Afterworlds by Scott Westerfeld
Winterspell by Claire Legrand
The Infinite Sea by Rick Yancey
How was your August? Read any good books I should know about? What September releases are you most excited for?

You had a great month for reading last month! Autumn is my favorite time of year so I'm looking forward to the changing seasons :) Love the changing colors of the trees, cooler weather and all of the activities that start up again (sports etc).
ReplyDeleteI really did! I hate the cooler weather, but I do love the pretty trees and I love baking all the pumpkin things!!
DeleteSounds like you had a fun August! And so many good books you reviewed.
ReplyDeleteThe Infinite Sea!!!! Can't wait for that one. I'm rereading The 5th Wave this weekend in preparation. I also can't wait for Queen of the Zombie Hearts and Unmade. Two of my favorite series! ~Pam
I did! And I read a lot of awesome books!
DeleteOooh maybe I'll make you give me a recap of The 5th Wave or just text you w/questions while reading The Infinite Sea....lol.
