Top Ten 2014 Releases I Meant To Read But Didn't Get To

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish where we make lists of bookish things!

Oh this topic. I could probably list close to 50 2014 releases that I meant to read, but didn't get to. Because I am a bookworm/book blogger and I have way more books on my TBR than I will ever be able to get to in this lifetime. Sometimes I look at the books laying around my house and feel panicky, because I know I probably won't get to them all. *sigh* But what am I supposed to do? Stop adding books to my TBR? BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! That's like telling me not to breathe. Here are the ten books released in 2014 that I was most excited about and then never got around to reading. (Click on the graphic for Goodreads info!)

Bonus time! I also meant to binge read a couple series that ended in 2014...

The list goes on my friends. But if I put up every single book that I meant to get to in 2014 this would be:
a). Way too long and you would all abandon ship and
b). horrifyingly embarrassing and shame-inducing.

What 2014 releases did you mean to get to last year?

  3. I have quite a few books I meant to read last year and never got around to, sadly. Gates of Thread and Stone was one of them, and The Walled City is one I'm definitely wanting to read as well. The Ring and the Crown as well, it looks good and does have an amazing cover. And yes Talon haha no worries hopefully we'll find some time to read it in the new year if you want. Great list!

And oooh Talon! Loved that one too! And The Vault of Dreamers was a very interesting story! Definitely can't wait for the next one in that series to release!

Ruin and Rising was yet another good one! Thought I was left shocked by its final ending!
