Why You Should Be Stoked:
More Grishaverse!! If you loved the Grisha trilogy you'll love this. But keep in mind, it's very different. You won't see Alina, Mal or Sturmhond, but you will hear some mentions of your fav characters.
The characters. Leigh Bardugo continues to prove that she can write outstanding characters. In this book you'll meet six new ones to fall in love with. My favorite? Nina and Matthias, an unlikely couple.
The heist! An elaborate and dangerous heist that will keep you on the edge of your seat the whole time reading. Leigh Bardugo spares no detail and will keep you glued to the pages.
The world. We're not in Ravka anymore, Toto. We get to see places like Kerch and even better, Fjerda, the mysterious northern, ice-encrusted country who despises Grisha.
Trust me, you're going to want to keep your eye out for this book. I yelled and laughed and cried through the whole thing. Perfection. While you wait, if you haven't read the Grisha Trilogy yet, get on it!
Nina and Matthias were my favorite too <3 I may or may not have squealed when "King Nikolai" was mentioned... =D

ReplyDeleteYou will love it! Everyone will love it. I shouldn't have read it so early because now I really have no one to talk about it with. And i have to wait an eternity for the next one. Ugh.
