1. SPOILER ALERT: When you fall in love, make sure to find out if you may be related to the aforementioned love interest.
2. Warlocks are sexy, especially ones of the Magnus Bane variety.
3. The family drama I thought I had is nonexistent.
4. Do not drink fairy potions. You may turn into a rat.
5. If your name is Clary Fray, the best thing you can do is never listen to anybody.
6. After killing the bad guy, never leave the love of your life alone on a roof.
7. Turning into a werewolf isn't necessarily a bad thing. I mean, Luke is hot!
8. Never mess with an angel. You will lose.
9. Never go into a hotel full of vampires without first being invited.
And finally:
10. The real world will always pale in comparison to the Shadowhunter world.
Who else is super excited for the movie? I can't wait! Has everybody gotten their Shadowhunter gear at Hot Topic? I have and will be wearing it all when I go see the movie. Nerd it up with me people! I will post pictures of myself and how embarrassed my husband will be afterwards. He told me he's not sitting by me. I assured him he was. Who thinks I should buy him the Jace vest from Hot Topic and force him to wear some of my temporary rune tattoos? ;)
I am beyond excited to see this movie! My husband knows this is a non-negotiable movie. He HAS to take me. I just hope they do the book justice.
ReplyDeleteMe too! I'm a little worried and I think I have gotten myself hyped up just a little too much... I feel like I may be disappointed. Cross your fingers!
DeleteI'm worried my expectations are too high for this movie, so I really hope they do a good job. I'm going to re-read the first book a day or so before just so it's fresh. This is one of my favorite series too (although Infernal Devices may have a slight edge). Love your list, this could have been a Top Ten Tuesday topic! ~Pam
ReplyDeleteSame here. I tried to keep them low, but the trailers look so good (they always do though, don't they?). That's a good idea about re-reading the first book. Maybe I will do that too. Or maybe not. If I don't re-read the book and the details aren't so fresh, maybe I won't be so disappointed if they change/leave out a bunch of things? I'm already mad that Raphael isn't in the movie. I mean really? But supposedly he will be in the second one..
DeleteThanks! I know it totally would've been a great Top Ten Tuesday topic!
