Top Ten Books I Read In 2013

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish where we make lists of bookish things!

Happy New Year everybody! Hope you all have some awesome plans to ring in 2014 tonight! But before we get to that, let's rewind and think about our favorite books we read in 2013.

Crown of Midnight by Sarah J. Maas: By far the best book I read in 2013. This series is amazing. Chaol is my number one book boyfriend for sure. And Celaena is such a badass. If you haven't read this series yet, you're missing out.

Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell: This book was the most surprising books of the year. I don't read a lot of contemporary, but this one stole my heart.

Champion by Marie Lu: An amazing ending to her stunning Legend trilogy. Anything Marie Lu writes is gold.

The Burning Sky by Sherry Thomas: An awesome new fantasy series complete with dragons, wyverns, pegasi, and magic wands!

The Bitter Kingdom by Rae Carson: A thrilling and perfect ending to The Girl of Fire and Thorns series. Hector. Elisa. Storm. So many amazing characters in this high fantasy series.

Unravel Me by Tahereh Mafi: One of the steamiest books I read all year. Warner is so sexy. Juliette is becoming so badass. I can't wait for the final book in this series.

Fragments by Dan Wells: A super long book that felt too short. Seriously. It was that good. I didn't even notice the 500+ pages. When I got to the end, I was dying for more. Great dystopian scifi.

Grave Mercy by Robin LaFevers: Assassin nuns. Politics. Historical fiction. Gavriel Duval. So freaking good.

Clockwork Princess by Cassandra Clare: This book ripped me to shreds. I cried so hard and had so many feels. It was beautiful and I absolutely loved it.

Cinder by Marissa Meyer: A Cinderella scifi retelling. Doesn't sound like much does it? At least that's what I thought. Holy crap, this book was amazing. And so was the second one, Scarlet. Can't wait for Cress next year!

What were your favorite books read in 2013? Any big plans to ring in the new year?
