First Blogoversary Celebration!


Wow. I can't believe I've been blogging for a year now! I never expected to last this long. I thought I would give up after a few months (like I always do), but I've finally found something I'm passionate about and love doing! 

First of all, I want to thank all of you wonderful people for making this happen. For your encouragement, your love, your comments, the time you spend reading. I love and appreciate all of you. So far this has been such a wonderful experience and that really is because of you. I couldn't have done this without all of you and I look forward to my next year of blogging with you! 

My first year of blogging has been a whirlwind of fun. Here's some fun stats for you. 

I've written 124 reviews in a year. Phew. That's a lot of reviews!
I've participated in 35 Top Ten Tuesday's.
I've participated in 29 Waiting on Wednesday's. 
I've participated in 7 Book Bangin' posts.
I created my own feature called Coffee and Classics which has been going on for 2 months.
I attended ALA MW in Philly in January and I got to go to two author signings, Marissa Meyer and the Dark Days Tour (Tahereh Mafi, Veronica Rossi, Kiersten White, and Sophie Jordan). 
I participated in the 2014 Love-A-Thon.

      Thanks! I was so surprised when I counted them up. I think next year will be a lot less because when I first started all I did was review. Now I have a lot more variety in my posts so my reviews slowed down.

      I am going to try my best to get to BEA. I just have to figure out the $$. It's really expensive to stay in NYC! :( And I'm trying to decide if I want to go for the whole time or just a couple days. Are you going?

      I know. It's so high because when I first started I only did reviews and I was unemployed so I was reviewing like 3-5 books per week! It will be drastically lower next year. I'm so glad we met too! I do hope we get to meet in person at BEA! I'm working on it. :)

    Happy 1 year! You should be so proud of all your work here on your blog, and beyond. :) IT IS AN AMAZING ACCOMPLISHMENT. Can't wait to see what you are up to in year 2.       Thank you so much! I've got all the warm fuzzies now. :) A Mad Wicked Folly was so freaking amazing!!!! You should totally read it, even if it's not normally your thing. Trust me. I'm not a huge historical fiction person, but that book completely blew me away.
