Top Ten Books That Will Make You Swoon

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish where we make lists of bookish things!

This week's topic has me so excited because you all know how much I love my book boyfriends. It's top ten books that will make you swoon!!

Up first is...

http://thelibrarycanary.blogspot.com/2013/10/review-coldest-girl-in-coldtown-by.html
Gavriel. He's a slightly insane vampire. A slightly insane, hot, swoony vampire. I fell in love with him from the moment we met him. Oh yeah, it was all insta-love with Gavriel and I.

Perry. The berries. You all know what I'm talking about.

Yep, this happens to me all the time when I'm reading.

Freaking Day. Swoontastic. He can scale buildings. And he is super protective of his family. So obviously you're going to swoon in this book.

You'll swoon in all the Lunar Chronicles books, but I love Wolf the most and this is the one he's in the most. I fell in love with his green eyes, his barely controlled rage problems, and his fierce desire to protect Scarlet and control his own mind.

Tarver. Yummy. He's a soldier and he's amazing. The love is slow burning. You will swoon hardcore over this guy.

The romance in this book almost killed me. My heart pounded every time Victoria and Will were in a room together. Every time their eyes met. Every time they spoke to each other. I couldn't handle the swoons.

(Does anyone notice that the gifs are escalating?)

Gavriel freaking Duval. His relationship with Ismae is amazing. Full of sarcasm and teasing insults, this romance made me swoon to the fullest extent. This book is awesome. You all should read this series. Because assassin nuns. And swoony boys. Just trust me on this one.

Oh Hector how I love you. Seriously. He was swoony in Crown of Embers, but the romance in this book went through the roof. Hector and Elisa are perfect for each other and I love everything about them. Every time I think about Hector I just want to squeal.

http://thelibrarycanary.blogspot.com/2014/02/review-ignite-me-by-tahereh-mafi.html
You will swoon through this whole series. Tahereh Mafi has a way of writing the swooniest boys and the steamiest scenes with being too racy. She's amazing and I love her. But seriously Ignite Me. I can't believe how much I swooned. Damn, Tahereh. Damn.

And finally, last but most certainly not least...

I can't talk about books that will make you swoon without mentioning Chaol freaking Westfall. Because he is my number one book boyfriend. The swoons. The feels. So many feels in Crown of Midnight. Sometimes I pick up the book and go to my sticky notes just to reread some of the quotes. And guess what? Every time I read them they are just as good as the first time. And then I get this stupid smile on my face:

What other swoony books should I read? Do you guys get creepy smiles on your faces when reading about your favorite book boys?
