I'm so glad you loved this series!!!!! This is one of my all time favorites. I think JLA is such a genius at creating characters that you care about. Even the secondary characters. And yes, the steam, the swoon…she writes sexual tension so well. I did enjoy Seth as a character, the snark, etc., but I loved Aiden from the beginning and he is definitely my favorite. So perfect (didn't he remind you of Chaol????)

By the way, since you loved this, you should definitely read Vampire Academy series (you haven't, right?) Some people don't like the Covenant series because they say it's too similar to the VA series. I disagree. There are some very basic similarities, but I think we could say that about a lot of books. And if they are similar…uh, if I love one, that's a good thing, at least to me.
Anyway, great vlog and now you need to read the Lux series (since you loved Seth, you will love Daemon…talk about cocky….) So many great books to read! ~Pam
Now that you mention it, Aiden is a bit like Chaol. I can definitely see that. He's so loyal and protective. Now I just want to go read Heir of Fire.

No, I have not read VA and that's what everyone keeps telling me. I need to get that whole series and binge it. I have heard that it's kind of similar but you're totally right, if it's a book I love why would that be a bad thing? lol

Ahhhhh! :) I loved texting with you about this series! It's one of my absolute faves and I agree with you about everything! Esp about how real the characters seem -- when you were talking about them I just want to gather them up and hug them! Hahah ohh Seth and that pool scene. Once again I wrinkled my nose when you mentioned it. I did finally forgave him at the very end (ok I was a tough customer). Aiden st Delphi. Sighhhh. :) also I agree with everything Pam said! You'll love VA and I didn't think they were that similar esp after the 1st book! Ahh and lux!!! You better text me when you binge that series! Daemon has that cockiness that I just loved. :)

Hopefully I will get to it soon. Not sure how long I'll be able to ignore the fact that it's sitting on my shelf. Lol
