Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish where we make lists of bookish things!
This week is all about movies and TV shows! I don't actually watch a ton of TV or movies. Mostly because I'm always reading. But there are a few shows that I watch religiously and movies that I love.
Movies:
The Avengers: They're just super badass. Although I hate that Loki is the bad guy.
Since I freaking love him. But all these awesome super heroes in one
epic movie? Awesomesauce.
Thor: Um, Thor is hot, but Loki is even hotter. I'm in love with both of them.
Mostly I just liked looking at their pretty faces (and bodies...)
during the movie. Hello, abs!
Titanic: My sister is probably freaking out right now. She HATES this movie. But I
absolutely love it. I can't help it. It's romantic, tragic, exciting.
*sigh* Although I agree with you all. There was plenty of room on that
board for both of them. Stupid Rose.
Frozen: (obvi) - Do I even need to explain this one?
Pretty Woman: I can watch this movie over and over again and never get sick of it. (My
sister hates this one too...) I know it's completely unrealistic, but I
love the fairytale feel to this movie.
TV Shows:
New Girl: This show is freaking hilarious. I love every single character (which is
really quite rare for me. I tend to always hate one.) Basically [LEAVE
NOW IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THE LATEST SEASON BECAUSE SPOILERS ARE COMING]
Nick and Jess just need to get back together and
so do Schmidt and Cici.
The Mindy Project: Another hilarious and awesome show. Mindy Kaling is one of my favorite
people ever. She's so unique and unafraid to be herself. If you don't
watch this show, you should seriously start. It has just gotten better
and better since episode one.
Once Upon a Time: I recently got into this show and am all caught up on Netflix waiting
impatiently for the next season to be put up. I love everything. All the
fairytale characters. The twists. The magic. Freaking amazing! I even
wrote a gushing post about it once.
Big Bang Theory: Nerds rocking out. This show is like my spirit animal.
How I Met Your Mother: I haven't watched the last season yet so NO SPOILERS PEOPLE. But I am in
love with this show. I've watched all the other season twice. Yes, you
read that right. It's hilarious and awesome and I love Barney and Robin.
Naruto: This is really owning my nerd. This is a Japanese anime based on a manga
that my husband got me addicted to. It's about a young boy who holds a
powerful creature called the nine-tailed fox inside him. Everyone hates
him because of it, and he just wants to be accepted so he goes on this
huge long journey to do just that. So. Freaking. Good. I have literally
shed tears over this show. Yes. Tears. If you're willing to give it a
try, you totally should.

WHY DO I MISS ALL THE TOP TEN TUES THAT I WANT TO DO. ugh. anyway. I ADORE new girl and want to live with all of them. also, i haven't seen the newest season but read your spoiler anyway becaaauuse i do that haha. can't wait to watch it! also OUAT - i need to finish the 2nd half of hte most recent season! adore it. and I stlll need ot watch the last season of HIMYM too.

SUPERNATURAL. it's prob my fave show ever. it's all on netflix. go binge watch it all!!! i seriously blew through like 5 seasons in 2 months. i got a little obsessed with dean... oh who am i kidding, my phone lock screen is still a picture of dean... hahahha.
haha, confession: I tried watching Supernatural once. Watched like the first 3 episodes or something and decided it wasn't for me.... Please don't kill me. Lol.

DeleteHow did I forget to put the Avengers on my list?! I absolutely love Loki as well- he's hilarious! Have you seen Thor The Dark World? Frozen's animation is absolutely wonderful, and Elsa is my favorite character from it! Once is definitely one of my favorite current tv shows- Hook. Forever. And Rumpbelle. I love them! We should definitely talk Once Upon A Time sometime! And Big Bang Theory- Leonard and Penny are hilarious. I have seen some How I Met Your Mother, and although I've seen some anime Naruto isn't one of them but I might check it out soon!
ReplyDeleteNo I have not seen the 2nd Thor movie yet. Fail. I'm really not a huge movie person so it takes me forever to watch them. I freaking love Elsa. I'm totally dressing up as her for Halloween this year. Rumpbelle!!! Best ship ever. My favorite two people on BBT are definitely Sheldon and Amy. Lol. You should totally check Naruto out!! And you'll have to let me know what you think. I freaking love it! The early ones can seem a bit childish because he's a kid, but I still got hooked on it. After he grows up it goes into what's called Naruto Shippuden (same characters, he's just older) and that's when it gets AMAZING. But you definitely need the backstory from the earlier ones.
DeleteI adore Titanic as well <3 Pretty Woman is another favorite!!! I love How I Met Your Mother as well, but I haven't watched the last season either. You should tell me when your going to watch it and I will watch it with you!! NO ONE is still watching this and I feel out of the loop haha, I LOVE that you haven't caught up :P

ReplyDeleteI love all of your picks. There are only a couple that I haven't watched yet. I haven't watched The Mindy Project or Naruto. (I haven't really watched much Anime.)
But I definitely love all your movie picks. So good.
And I absolutely love watching New Girl, The Big Bang Theory and How I Met Your Mother (I hope you will like the last season.)

You should try the Mindy Project! If you like New Girl, I'm pretty sure you'll like it. It's hilarious. Mindy Kaling is freaking awesome.
DeleteHIMYM: I have heard not so good things about the last season so I hope I like it too. I definitely have to see how it ends tho. But I could really care less about who Ted marries. Lol. I care much more about the other characters.
Marvel movies= YASSS. Thor is a hunky hunk. I finally watched the second one and really liked it. :)
