I enjoy vlogging. But I don't do it that often. Why? Because it's
hard. I just made a vlog last week talking about my favorite military men. But I was kind of all over the place in it. And I was going to edit
it, but... it's hard. I don't really know any good video editing
programs. I've just been using Windows Movie Maker which (I may just be
video editing challenged) is NOT user friendly. So after struggling with
my video for hours and hours (i.e. 30 minutes...) I gave up and just
uploaded it. Sorry not sorry. So this is why I don't vlog more.
So if you are a book-tuber or you've vlogged before, or you have any more experience than I do, tell me: what editing program do you use? How do you cut down the time of your videos? How do you stay on track while filming? Basically, how the heck do you vlog???
It does sound like an awful lot of work, for what you get out of it? I know some people really like doing this but I never understood the appeal-I get frustrated just loading pictures on my blog, lol.
ReplyDeleteI really like it, but it's so much work! I guess when I vlog I feel like I'm connecting to my readers more? Because I can actually talk to them?
DeleteI admire people who vlog too because I can't imagine doing it. I hate even getting my picture taken. :) I had to take a class on teaching when I was in grad school and we had to tape ourselves teaching a class and I felt so awkward!!! I love your vlogs so keep doing them and don't worry about editing, etc., just have fun with it! Sorry I can't help with any tips or advice about it. ~Pam
ReplyDeleteThe first time I ever vlogged, I felt sooo weird! Now it feels a lot more natural. Thanks so much! That means a lot to me. <3
DeleteI think it's a cool way to connect with some of my favorite bloggers (wink, wink), but I have absolutely no advice since my video technology knowledge ends with Skype. <3
ReplyDeletelol right? Video technology is like this completely foreign thing...
