Preorder from Amazon

*****

Synopsis from Goodreads:

***********SPOILERS!!!! IF YOU HAVEN’T READ THE FIRST BOOK, SOULBOUND, THEN SKIP THE SYNOPSIS AND SCROLL DOWN TO WHY I’M WAITING.*******************

Sometimes you have to break the rules to discover the truth.

In this follow up to Legacy of Tril: Soulbound, Kaya has learned that she is Soulbound to Darius, the Barron she secretly trained with at Shadow Academy. But he’s been sent away, leaving Kaya with questions about how he could be Soulbound to her and another Healer. Determined to find answers and prove herself worthy of fighting in the war against King Darrek and the Graplars, Kaya sneaks away, encountering a mysterious Barron named Gage in her travels. But Darius has shocking information about Gage—information that changes everything Kaya thought she knew about what it means to be Bound.

Why I’m Waiting:

Cliffhanger!!! At the end of Soulbound, the first book in the Legacy of Tril series by Heather Brewer, we are left on the worst cliffhanger ever. I’m talking rip your own hair out because you are so distraught over what just happened. I won’t give anything away, but seriously, I am dying for this book. The first book was amazing and you can read my review here. Kaya is such a strong character that you can’t help but love her and then the boys…. Darius and Trayton are both so amazing! Trayton is like the sweetest guy in the world. Darius is this badass, jaded, bad-boy (naturally I am Team Darius). There is tons of action, mystery, and romance in this series. I mean, they fight gross creatures called Graplars with katanas. Katanas. Need I say more? If you haven’t read the first book, go get it. You won’t regret it and then you can be waiting with me for the second one!

    1. Yes, you do! It's awesome! It reminds me of Defiance by C.J. Redwine because it has a really badass female heroine.

Thanks for stopping by mine as well!

  4. This isn't my usual type of read but I might look into it. A few years ago I went to a midnight release of one of the Twilight books (Eclipse?) and Heather Brewer was going to be at that bookstore soon after that. I didn't go toher event because I hadn't read any of her books, but I've always kind of wished I had.

    1. Yeah, the only one I have read is Soulbound, the first in this series. Her other two series Chronicles of Vladimir Tod and Slayer Chronicles are supposed to be really good as well. If they are anything like this series, I'm sure I would love them. Thanks for stopping by!
