Top Ten Character Names I Love

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish where we make lists of bookish things!

I love reading unique character names. It gives me all kinds of fun ideas for my future children's names (though my husband won't agree to anything I come up with). Le sigh. So anyway, I'm really excited to share my favorite character names with you guys!

Top Ten Character Names I Love:

From Article 5 by Kristen Simmons. I love this name. I think it's so pretty, but also meaningful. Like she's an ember that won't ever go out.

From Proxy by Alex London. I just love this name for a guy. There's something so old-fashioned about it, but yet, not so old-fashioned that the kid would get beat up on the playground.

From Under the Never Sky by Veronica Rossi. Also the name of a character in Pretty Little Liars. (At least in the show, I haven't read the books.) This name is so beautiful and it fits Aria's character in Under the Never Sky so well.
From Partials by Dan Wells. I love the name Sam. But I especially love this spelling. There's lots of Sam's in literature, but this is the only one I've seen with two m's. I love when people take ordinary names and give them a unique spelling.
From Reboot by Amy Tintera and also from Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell. I love this name. It's so light. I feel as if the person with his name is like a delicate bird.
From Grave Mercy by Robin LaFevers and The Coldest Girl in Coldtown by Holly Black. This name is just freaking sexy. I love it. Both of the Gavriel's I'm referring to are super swoony.
From Grave Mercy by Robin LaFevers. She has so many good names in her books. Ismae is such a pretty name and it fits the character really well. I would totally name my future daughter Ismae if my husband would let me. (He won't.)
From Soulbound by Heather Brewer. Another sexy name for the win. When I hear the name Darius, I think dangerous. And then I swoon. What can I say? I like bad boys.
From Wither by Lauren DeStefano. This name is super unique. I probably wouldn't ever name my child this, but I think this name is really pretty and perfect for a character in a book. I think it looks really pretty written out too.
From Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas. Omg. This name is like the sexiest of sexiest names. Seriously if a guy walked up to me and told me his name was Chaol, my husband better take him out. Because I'm going to be drooling over him immediately. Plus, Chaol is my number one book boyfriend so.... maybe I'm biased.

What are your favorite character names? My list could've gone on and on forever. Let me know in the comments below!
