Top Ten Gateway Books

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish where we make lists of bookish things!

This week's topic is top ten gateway books meaning books that got us into something new, brought us back to reading, got us through a slump, whatever the case may be.

What are some of your gateway books?

  1. Cinder along with Ella Enchanted got me into reading retellings, too. The genre I wasn't into was scifi, but the authors Hafsah Laziaf and Jamie Grey got me hooked on it. Thanks for sharing!

  2. This is a great list. The Hunger Games got so many people I know to read. A Mad, Wicked Folly is such a great book. I love that someone else is talking about it too.

  4. Hunger Games and Divergent…such fantastic dystopians. I measure all of them against those, which says something. Great list! ~Pam
