March Rewind + Books I Can't Wait For

This is my very first time doing a monthly rewind post. I know a lot of bloggers do these and I've decided that I want to join in. I feel like it might be helpful for a lot of people who don't necessarily have time to scroll through their blog feeds all the time. This way all my posts from the last month are easily accessible in one place for you to check out at your leisure. I also want to feature books being released in the next month that I am excited about in these posts. So I guess really this is a mash-up of a monthly rewind and Waiting on Wednesday.

I reviewed a lot of books last month. Many that I loved. Mostly new books, but some older ones that I've been meaning to read forever.
White Hot Kiss by Jennifer L. Armentrout (My first ever JLA book! Spoiler alert: I'm in love.)
Panic by Lauren Oliver
Death Sworn by Leah Cypess
Code Name Verity by Elizabeth Wein (Oh my gosh you guys, I cried so hard. "Kiss me, Hardy!" *sobs*)
The Shadow Prince by Bree Despain
Providence by Lisa Colozza Cocca
Half Bad by Sally Green (I LOVED this book!)
Elusion by Claudia Gabel and Cheryl Klam
Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell (What an amazing love story. Park became my first contemporary book boyfriend!)
Dorothy Must Die by Danielle Paige
The Summer of Letting Go by Gae Polisner
Salvage by Alexandra Duncan (What an awesome, unique scifi!)
Sekret by Lindsay Smith (Set during the Cold War in Russia. Very interesting time period to read about.)

*Phew* That was a lot!

I posted a few different discussion posts including one about books that make you cry which was arguably my favorite post this month.

And I posted some other randomly fun posts including a recap of an awesome bookish event I was able to attend!

March Top Ten Tuesdays:

In my real life, I did a couple of awesome things. It was my birthday this month! Yay! My husband was amazing this year. He brought flowers and balloons to work, took me out to lunch, and sent me on a scavenger hunt with my shiny new GPS after work. I also got to Skype with my family and it actually felt like I was hanging out with them.

I went into DC for the first time since moving here in November! The weather was finally nice enough. My friend and I went to the National Mall where we we went to the Air and Space Museum, the National Art Gallery and saw the Lincoln Memorial and the White House. Oh, and we're pretty sure we saw the President in a squadron of black SUVs escorted by like six police cars.

And to top it all off, I got to go see Divergent! You can read all my thoughts (spoiler free of course) here, but I will tell you that I really liked it.

And finally, to conclude this post, I want to share some April releases that I can't wait for! I originally got the idea to do one big Waiting on Wednesday from Pam @ YA Escapes Reality. She started doing it and I thought it was a great idea so thanks, Pam!

Stolen Songbird by Danielle Jensen (Trolls and witches? Yes, please!)
Don't Look Back by Jennifer L. Armentrout (Um, it's JLA.)
Talker 25 by Joshua McCune (Dragons.)
Prisoner of Night and Fog by Anne Blankman (WWII era from the POV of Hitler's niece.)
The Treatment by Suzanne Young (Sequel to The Program where suicide is a disease.)
The Taking by Kimberly Derting (Loved her Pledge series, so figured I'd give this a try!)

What did I miss on your blogs last month? Leave me a link so I can visit! Are you excited for any of these books too?
