If You Like...Then Read...

With the holidays right around the corner, I thought it might be a good idea to put together a guide to help all the husbands out there when purchasing books for their bookish significant others. But then as I got started, I realized that I didn't have a single place on my blog for book recommendations. What??? How? Why?!? How can I be a book review blog, but not recommend books??? I guess in a way I recommend when I review, but there's no clear cut place to go when you're looking for your next read. And that's just unacceptable. So I set to work creating an infographic to help point everyone in the right direction. So whether you're shopping for the book lover in your life or just looking for the next thing to read, you've come to the right place.

Under the Never Sky by Veronica Rossi
Wither by Lauren DeStefano
Partials by Dan Wells

And now you have no excuses for not buying the perfect book for your bookish friend and/or significant other. And you have a simple guide to help you choose your next read! Huzzah! Hope this helps and if you want more recs you can also email or tweet me! I love recommending books. *rubs hands together gleefully* But be prepared. I'm going to give you a laundry list of all the books you HAVE to read. Happy reading and shopping everyone!

What books would you recommend based on the categories I put together?

  1. Yay! Winterspell I hadn't really heard anything about...glad to hear from you that it is definitely worth my time! Oh man, I was so ungodly busy last month with NaNoWriMo, I had no time to keep pace with my TBR or any of my favorite book blogs. I'm so glad to have time again for reading. As much fun as writing is, I'd never have the inspiration for it if I didn't spend most of my year buried in others' books :)

    1. My TBR is definitely falling to the wayside as the holidays come into full swing. I'm so busy with Christmas shopping, Christmas parties and then I'll be in Chicago for like a week and a half over Christmas and New Years. I haven't gotten any reading done the last couple weeks. :(
