Jamie over at The Perpetual Page-Turner has brought us another Friday fun post! These have been a blast to do! This week we are talking "Senior Superlatives". You know how in your senior year book there were the superlatives like "most likely to become President"? Well Jamie came up with this great idea to do them for books and characters!
Characters
Most Likely to Change the World
Cutest Couple
Ember Miller and Chase Jennings from Article 5 by Kristen Simmons
Class Clown
Jace Lightwood from City of Bones by Cassandra Clare
Most Likely to Become Famous for Their Athletic/Musical/Artistic Abilities
Clary Fray from or Jem Carstairs from City of Bones and Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare
All Around Good Person
Kira Walker from Partials by Dan Wells
Biggest Flirt
Gavriel Duval from Grave Mercy by Robin LaFevers
Most Likely to Be Fought Over
Will Herondale from Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare
Most Likely to Be Friends Forever
Cinder and Iko from Cinder by Marissa Meyer. Okay, I know Iko is technically an android, but she totally has her own personality. They will be best friends forever.
Most Likely to Have Their Own Reality Show
Maxon from The Selection by Kiera Cass. This one is super obvious. The Bachelor anybody?
Most Unique
Magnus Bane from City of Bones by Cassandra Clare
Most Likely to Survive an Apocalypse
Sybella from Dark Triumph by Robin LaFevers
Most Likely to be a Villain
Purian Rose from Black City by Elizabeth Richards
Biggest Wallflower
Marina from Arclight by Josin L. McQuein
Most Likely to Break Your Heart
Juliette from Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi. She's going to break one boy's heart. The question of the day is: Which will it be? She better not break Warner's heart. I'll kill her.
Most Changed
Elisa from The Girl of Fire and Thorns by Rae Carson. Didn't even have to think about this one.
Most Likely to Get Arrested
Knox from Proxy by Alex London
Self-Proclaimed God/Goddess
Jace Lightwood from City of Bones by Cassandra Clare. It's something I love about him.
Best Person to Bring Home to Mom and Dad
Peeta from The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. Peeta is such a good person. Any dad would be thrilled if he was dating their daughter.
Books
Most Likely to Make You Cry
Dares to Be Different (in world, plot, storytelling, etc.)
Best Dressed (pretty cover!)
Most Likely to Make You Swoon
If you don't swoon over Chapter 62, you're not human.
Loveliest Prose
Tahereh Mafi's writing is so gorgeous. This book exploded with similes and metaphors and stunning descriptions.
Most Likely to Be a Favorite of 2013
I am dying for this book. Dying. It will probably be one of my favorites for the year.
Most Likely to Change the World (or change your life)
Although I didn't like how this series ended, it truly made you think about love and what a world without it would look like.
Books You are Most Likely to Keep Putting Off
*hides from internet*
Most Likely to End Up as Christmas Gifts For Everyone You Know
Most Likely to Be Thrown
Ending=Terrible. I think we can all agree on this.
Most Likely to Be Reread More Than Once
Most Likely to Make You Read Through an Earthquake Because It's THAT Engrossing
Most Likely to Be Passed On To Your Children
If I have girls for sure. This shows that it's okay to be different and to have insecurities and it teaches you how to overcome them.
Most Likely to Break Your Heart Into a Million Pieces
Most Likely to Brighten Up Your Day
I read mostly dystopias and fantasies where lots of people die. This one is a dystopia, but it focuses a lot on the love story which I loved.
Do you guys agree with my choices? Leave me a link to your choices in the comments below!
Oh snap!! Magnus Bane for most unique-- that is a good choice!!
ReplyDeleteI like that you mentioned The Girl of Fire and Thorns and Article 5 because I recently got both of them. I'm assuming they are good! And yeah, Jace is super full of himself! hahaha
I was agonizing over who to put for most unique and then it just came to me and I was like "duh!". You will love Girl of Fire and Thorns! It is so freaking good! Can't wait to hear your thoughts on it! Article 5 is also really good. Not my favorite dystopian, but Chase and Ember are adorbs.
DeleteThis was so fun to read, I love Cinder and Iko together and I also love how you chose Maxon to have a reality show! :)
ReplyDeleteAlice @ Alice in Readerland
Thanks! Maxon should definitely have his own reality show. Drama city. Lol
