Preorder from Amazon
Synopsis from Goodreads:
"You have to kill him."
Imprisoned in the heart of a secret military base, Em has nothing
except the voice of the boy in the cell next door and the list of
instructions she finds taped inside the drain.
Only Em can complete the final instruction. She’s tried everything to prevent the creation of a time machine that will tear the world apart. She holds the proof: a list she has never seen before, written in her own hand. Each failed attempt in the past has led her to the same terrible present—imprisoned and tortured by a sadistic man called the doctor while war rages outside.
Marina has loved her best friend James since the day he moved next door when they were children. A gorgeous, introverted science prodigy from one of America’s most famous families, James finally seems to be seeing Marina in a new way, too. But on one disastrous night, James’s life crumbles apart, and with it, Marina’s hopes for their future. Now someone is trying to kill him. Marina will protect James, no matter what. Even if it means opening her eyes to a truth so terrible that she may not survive it. At least not as the girl she once was.
All Our Yesterdays is a wrenching, brilliantly plotted story of fierce love, unthinkable sacrifice, and the infinite implications of our every choice.

Why I'm Waiting:
That cover. It is so gorgeous! The flaming clock just completely drew me in. And then I read the synopsis. Doesn't this sound amazing? I love books that start with the main character locked in prison (You guys know how much I adore the Shatter Me series which starts with Juliette locked up). I've also heard amazing things about this from reading early reviews! I don't read a lot of time travel books, but this one definitely caught my eye. It sounds like such a unique book and I am really excited to see where it will take me!
Have any of you been lucky enough to get your hands on an advance copy of this book? What are your thoughts? Who else wants to read this? Leave me a link to your Waiting on Wednesday post so I can check it out!
Whenever I come across All Our Yesterdays I get this stupid smile on my face. I was lucky enough to get a copy! It is so unbelievably amazing, and oh, the characters. You'll love it.

Jealous that you have already read this!!!! I can't wait!
DeleteOh my gosh, I cannot wait for this one. I have heard SO many good things about it and I'm incredibly excited for it!
ReplyDeleteME TOO! I need it in my life right now.
DeleteI absolutely love time travel books! They make me crazy, but in a good way. ~Pam
ReplyDeleteI haven't read a lot of time travel books. The only one that comes to mind is the Fallen series by Lauren Kate. In one of the books Luce is time traveling the entire time. I love it though so I'm sure I will love this one!
DeleteI also loved this book but I cheated by reading ahead and completely ruined it for myself. do not read ahead!~Sheri
ReplyDeleteAhhh! No! I can never read ahead although I've been very tempted before. Sometimes I have to close the book to force myself to slow down because I get so excited I just start skimming and then I'm missing important details.
DeleteIs it wrong that half the reason I want to read this book is because the cover is so cool? Anyway- it sounds awesome. Thanks for sharing- and stopping by!
ReplyDeleteThat is definitely half the reason why I want this book, so no, it's not wrong! I've read so many books based on just the cover. Sometimes it works out, sometimes it doesn't. But at least I got to look at a beautiful book cover for a few days. :)
