Coffee and Classics: Introduction

Coffee and Classics is a monthly feature created and hosted by myself, The Library Canary. I created this feature so that I could read all those classics that I've promised myself I will read before I die and I thought it would be fun to read with you guys! So every month I will assign a classic book for participants to read. (The great thing about classics is that most of them are free or really cheap on Kindle.) On the first day of the month, post a review or discussion on your blog of the assigned book, link up to The Library Canary and add your link to the Linky widget. Then visit other blogs and discuss the book! I'm going to make my posts more discussion based than review based so mine will have spoilers. You can do whatever you want with yours. You can even do a video review or discussion if you want! Have fun with it!

For the first month, we will be reading A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. Read during December and post your discussion on or around the 1st of January! February's discussion will be on Jane Eyre which we will read during the month of January. I will be updating the list soon, but if anyone has any suggestions for books that you've been wanting to read, let me know!

As you're reading you can use #coffeeandclassics to discuss the book with other participants throughout the month!
