Top Ten 2014 Releases I'm Dying to Read

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish where we make lists of bookish things!

This week's topic was soooo hard. How do I choose only ten 2014 releases I'm dying to read??? There are so many to choose from! So many series continuations/enders and so many new books coming out! I did my best. But guys, this was so freaking hard. Here are my top ten 2014 releases I'm dying to read:

Ignite Me by Tahereh Mafi: Obviously. I need to see how it ends. Who is Juliette going to choose??? Will they defeat Warner's douchebag father?

Cress by Marissa Meyer: Seriously, the Lunar Chronicles is one of my favorite series and I can't wait to get my hands on the third book. Reviews so far have been raving. *cries* I need it right now!

Throne of Glass #3 by Sarah J. Maas: There's not even a title for this one yet, but I'm dying for it. I need more Chaol and Celaena in my life. And the ending of Crown of Midnight blew my freaking mind. The wait is sheer torture.

Three by Kristen Simmons: I am super excited to see how the Article 5 series is going to end! Chase and Ember are one of my favorite couples in YA. They are so cute together.

The Winner's Curse by Marie Rutkoski: I've never read anything by this author, but this book seriously sounds so freaking good. I'm dying for this one.

Ruins by Dan Wells: I love love love the Partials series. Samm is one of my top dystopian book boyfriends and I can't wait to see how it's all going to end.

City of Heavenly Fire by Cassandra Clare: Do I even need to explain this? Cassandra Clare is freaking amazing. Her books are incredible. If her name is on it, I'm reading it. And I can't wait to dive back into the world of Shadowhunters.

Wings by Elizabeth Richards: Have you guys read Black City yet? If not, what are you waiting for? An amazing fantasy dystopian mix complete with an evil government and darklings. What more could you ask for?

The Young Elites by Marie Lu: Another author that I will read anything with her name on. I love the Legend series so much and can't wait to see what Marie Lu brings us next. It's definitely going to be epic.

Guardian by Alex London: You guys are probably sick of me shoving Proxy down your throats, but I'm not going to stop until more people are talking about this book. It's such an amazing story with so many fantastic elements and lessons learned. Can't wait to see where the series will go.

Which books are you most anticipating in the new year? Did you have as hard a time as I did narrowing it down to only ten?

    1. Yeah, I binge read the entire Mortal Instruments series this summer so I'm dying for the last one. But yeah, it's been awhile since City of Lost Souls came out. You need to read both of them!!! They are amazing. If you read one of those, I'll read Alice in Zombieland. Deal?

  2. I need to read the Legends series, everyone loves it, but I mostly go for contemp YA. Definitely agree with Cress & City of Heavenly Fire, but I also need to start the Shatter Me series.

    1. That's so funny. I normally go for anything but contemporary. Lol. But I did start to dip my toe into the genre this year so hopefully next year I will read a lot more of the genre. Both the Legend and Shatter Me series are amazing! Legend is like watching an awesome action movie with an amazeballs romance. Shatter Me is just, I don't even know, the prose is so beautiful. Tahereh Mafi is an amazing writer.

  3. Ahhhhh, all of these! I really like your images for the books by the way since so many of these don't have covers yet, haha. I'm always conflicted on how to manage that ;-). But yes! Cress :D
