Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Breaking the Spine where we discuss what books we can't wait for! My pick for today is:
We Were Liars by E. Lockhart
Publisher: Delacorte Press
Expected Publication Date: May 13, 2014
Synopsis from Goodreads:
A beautiful and distinguished family.
A private island.
A brilliant, damaged girl; a passionate, political boy.
A group of four friends—the Liars—whose friendship turns destructive.
A revolution. An accident. A secret.
Lies upon lies.
True love.
The truth.
We Were Liars is a modern, sophisticated suspense novel from National Book Award finalist and Printz Award honoree E. Lockhart.
Read it.
And if anyone asks you how it ends, just LIE.

Why I'm Waiting:
I know nothing about this book. The synopsis doesn't give us much and that's fine. What I do know is that Jamie just read this and has been raving about it. She's been going on and on about how good it is and now I'm officially dying to read a book I know nothing about. Which is awesome! I love going into books knowing very little. It allows me to form my own opinions.
Have you guys heard of this? Do you want to read it as bad as I do? What are you waiting on this Wednesday?
I've never read anything from E. Lockhart, but I've been seeing a lot of her books in the bookstore, so maybe I should give it a try :)
ReplyDeleteNeither have I. I just heard some seriously fantastic things about this one so I guess I will give her stuff a go.
